This exceptional for Minsk flat with arched windows and picturesque river and Central Park view is located in one of the oldest cobbled streets ofthe city in the house of 1954.Right after the very first meeting with the Client it was obvious we were on the same wavelength. It was about the unique style, based on coziness, comfort and space. We have decided to mix emotions, impressions, reminiscences, styles, epochs, but performeverything in our own discreet way. We have set a living room, a nursery, a bedroom, a study, a kitchen and two bathrooms in 120 square meters. The Planning solution hand-drawn by the Client on a notebook sheet was so dear to us and turned out to be perfect, and regardless our attempts to alter it, it was destined to remain in its original state.During dismantling, we discovered ceiling beams, wide and high, like “old-timers” of space. And then... feelings, emotions, and states captured us. Working as a team with the Client, we inspired and encouraged each other. We made decisions quickly, took a risk, and made the most of the year. The character of the space was given by parquet of the Italian factory Forglio D’oro. From the beginning it was absolutely obvious it had no rivals, and it perfectly balanced the geometric space of the flat. The Interior palette is neutral in warm shades. The majority of windows have the reflection ofgreen colors of the park, which requires colour correction. Therefore, we have chosen Farrow and Ball palette with a red subtone. One of my favorite tricks is painting walls and ceilings in one colour for achieving coziness and enveloping space.Did we travel not only in time, but also all over the world.... We borrowed a little of American simplicity, English classics, a pinch of French décor and seasoned with a slight Italian carelessness….
